We are very excited to announce a new integration with our friends at [PagerDuty](http://www.pagerduty.com "PagerDuty"). PagerDuty is fast becoming the standard service to schedule on-calls and add phone and SMS notifications to all your IT tools. Connecting Datadog to Pagerduty means that you can start receiving phone, SMS and email notifications for all important server, database and application events, as monitored by Datadog.

If you are a PagerDuty customer this integration is available to you today in Datadog. [Sign up for a Datadog trial](http://www.datadoghq.com/signup/ "Sign up for Datadog") to get the most out of your PagerDuty data.

### What can you do with the new PagerDuty integration?

1. The integration lets you **create and resolve incidents** directly from the [Datadog stream](https://app.datadoghq.com/event/stream "Datadog Event Stream"). PagerDuty then takes the appropriate notification action.

1. The integration continuously imports [PagerDuty](http://www.pagerduty.com "PagerDuty") incidents, escalations and resolutions into the Datadog stream so that they can be used for **discussion in Datadog during or after the incident**.

1. The integration lets you **correlate metrics and incidents** very easily as in this example. Incidents triggered after peaks of high load on a Cassandra cluster are displayed on top of the actual load graph.
