Finding the right integrations, libraries, and open source tooling to extend a product has long been a challenge for developers. While Datadog has a vast offering of monitoring and observability solutions, many teams need to customize their setup in some way—whether by extending the Datadog Agent, integrating with third-party services, or using SDKs to interact with the Datadog API. Previously, these resources were spread across various repositories and documentation pages, which made it challenging for developers to find the most suitable tool for their needs.
We are pleased to announce the launch of the Datadog Developer Hub, a centralized resource for developers to find components that enable them to extend the capabilities of Datadog. The Developer Hub provides a searchable catalog of official Datadog and community-contributed integrations and libraries, learning resources on how to build integrations, and information on how to join the community of Developer Hub contributors.

Access a collection of tools to extend Datadog
The Developer Hub brings together a variety of tools that developers can use in conjunction with Datadog, including:
- Agent integrations: Agent integrations enable you to extend the Datadog Agent by specifying the data it can ingest, how it processes that data, and where it sends it.
- Core Datadog integrations: Core integrations are maintained by Datadog and provide robust, out-of-the-box functionality for monitoring databases, cloud providers, messaging systems, and more.
- Libraries: These include Datadog and community-contributed API and DogStatsD client libraries, APM and Continuous Profiler libraries, serverless client libraries, command-line tools, and UI wrappers around the Datadog API.
- Sample apps: A growing collection of sample apps enable you to kick-start your Datadog instrumentation journey.
