About This Session
This foundation enablement session will focus solely on how Datadog can monitor Kubernetes. You will learn how to configure Datadog for Kubernetes and how to get started. You will then explore the various views and tools Datadog offers to visualize and analyze your cluster and application metrics, traces, and logs.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the recommended agent installation methods for Kubernetes environments and where to find example operator parameters and Helm charts.
- Compare the different functionalities of the Cluster Agent and Node Agent.
- Explain how to set up integration checks with Autodiscovery.
- Locate the Kubernetes Explorer in-app and explore the underlying YAML of pods in your clusters.
