Foundation Enablement: Network Performance Monitoring | Datadog

About This Session

Datadog Network Performance Monitoring provides full visibility into every network component that makes up your on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, with minimal overhead. By monitoring the performance of connections among your hosts, services, virtual private clouds (VPCs), and other elements, you can quickly determine when your network is the root cause of any issue.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain how to configure the Datadog Agent to monitor network traffic between endpoints in a microservice-oriented environment.
  • Identify where to find OOTB SNMP profiles and how to configure custom profiles for physical devices and switches.
  • Interpret network performance and dependencies using the Network Performance Map.
  • Examine NPM traces in the NPM Analytics Explorer.
