Configure exclusion filters to make targeted events (such as known noisy errors, retired application versions or specific user segments) skip the evaluation against your retention filters. Define an exclusion once per application instead of repeating the same exclusion query in every retention filter. This lets you control what can trigger retention and update it in one place.
