OpenTelemetry Native Instrumentation enables sending OTLP signals directly to the Datadog Platform. You will be able to use, see, and interact with your native OTel data alongside Datadog data using either set of semantics. This preview is great for customers with services instrumented with OTel SDK and an OTel Collector already configured.
Preview participants should be willing to add the spanmetricsconnector OTel component to their telemetry pipeline.
