With Resource Policies, you can define policies on your cloud resources and gain instant visibility needed to track whether your resource are optimally configured according to your organization’s infrastructure best practices. With this Preview, you can define flexible policies on resource configuration and resource tags, and quickly get started with out-of-the-box Datadog-recommended policy templates. Some examples of policies you can create:

  • Amazon Lambda Functions should not run deprecated runtimes
  • Amazon ACM Certificates should be valid and in successful auto-renewal state
  • Amazon EC2 Instances should not be using deprecated AMIs
  • Azure VMIs should be deployed across multiple availability zones
  • Azure Managed Disks should be in attached state
  • Google Compute Instances should use ARM architecture where compatible

To qualify for this Product Preview, you must currently be using & paying for Datadog Infrastructure Monitoring.
