Datadog Disaster Recovery (DDR) is the disaster recovery capability of Datadog that provides you continuity of observability in rare outage events affecting availability of a cloud provider region or a Datadog site.

• DDR provides you the ability to recover live observability at the secondary site within 42 minutes RTO during an unexpected outage event, enabling you to meet your observability availability and business continuity goals.
• DDR supports DR drills which may be needed for compliance.
• DDR is managed by you, including failover from the Datadog App and where applicable, Datadog provides essential data synchronization tools.
