Configure the Datadog Agent running in your Kubernetes clusters directly from Datadog Fleet Automation. Edit the DatadogAgent custom resource from the Fleet Automation interface instead of hand-applying YAML manifests and redeploying cluster by cluster. Use it to enable and tune capabilities like Application Performance Monitoring (APM), log collection, and process monitoring, and let the Operator reconcile changes to the desired state.
Fleet Automation sends your change to the Datadog Operator, which rolls it out across your Agent pods as a controlled update. If the rollout does not complete, the Operator automatically restores the previous configuration, giving you a built-in safety net for Agent configuration changes.
To qualify for this Product Preview, you should already be running the Datadog Agent in Kubernetes using the Datadog Operator version 1.27 or later, with Remote Configuration enabled for your API keys.
