The Datadog MCP server supports agentically instrumenting AWS Lambda Functions with the Datadog Agent by adapting to existing application code and deployment and CI/CD tools and ensuring best-practices (e.g. latest agent version, tagging, setting environment variables).
To qualify for this Preview, you should already be using an AI-coding tool like Claude Code, Cursor, or IDEs that support MCP servers.
