What is a Technical Enablement Manager?
Technical Enablement Managers (TEMs) are in-house Datadog experts that provide targeted technical instruction over the comprehensive suite of products and features available at Datadog. The TEM will build custom agendas based on your audience and goals, then deliver the training through which format most suits your needs.
How many sessions do I need?
Reference the enablement menu offerings and enablement course catalog. If you’re still unsure, we’d be happy to schedule a call to walk through what an enablement engagement might look like for your team.
How are Premium Virtual sessions delivered?
For both Foundation and Premium virtual calls will be scheduled through Zoom. For Premium Virtual sessions you may also provide your own meeting links for our instructors to join.
How are Premium On-site engagements delivered?
One of our instructors will travel to the venue of your choice to deliver the Premium On-site. We will not be providing or managing the space.
What if I want a topic that isn’t in the course catalog?
Premium Virtual and On-site engagements will start with a scoping call to discuss your goals and challenges and define what topics and use cases to cover. We will customize the agenda to fit your goals.
Will sessions be recorded?
Yes, we offer the option to record the call and share it after. If your team is managing the invite, you are also free to record.
Is there a limit on audience size?
For Premium Virtual sessions, there is a limit of 500 participants. However our goal is to have as engaged an audience as possible, the more questions during the call the better. Sometimes that is easier with smaller audiences.
Can I request a mix of Premium Virtual and Premium On-site sessions?
Yes, you can purchase both Premium Virtual and Premium On-site to fit your learning goals.
What time zones are available?
We currently support all time-zones around the globe.
What languages are supported?
We support English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa, Russian and Catalan.
What is a scoping call?
A scoping call is a preporatory 30 minute call led by the TEM managing your enablement engagement in order to determine the agenda and cadence of your training. There may be multiple scoping calls over the course of the engagement depending on how many sessions are purchased and the intricacy of the sessions.
Do scoping calls count as sessions?
No, scoping calls will not contribute towards your session usage.
What is a health check?
A health check is a session type where a member of our team will walk through your account with you, pointing out recommendations and best practices that will help your team get the most value possible from Datadog. It is common to start an enablement engagement with a health check session, in order to help define what topics to cover in future sessions.
