Datadog for Open Source Projects

Real-time performance monitoring for open source projects

Datadog is a proud consumer of and contributor to many open source projects. As part of our continued commitment to open source we’re always looking for ways we can give back to the community.

If you are part of an open source project that you feel would benefit from the cloud observability and security platform that Datadog provides then we’d like to help. Use this form to apply for access to Datadog at no cost. We evaluate applications on a case by case basis. See the guidelines below for more information.

  • Projects should be non-commercial and available under an approved open source license.
  • Projects need to be at least 1 year old and have at least 5 regular contributors (maintainers or not).
  • The infrastructure and applications monitored and secured by Datadog need to be directly used to support the project (i.e. instances of specific open source projects are out of scope for the program).
  • The number of hosts (or other types of compute units) and telemetry events may be limited.
  • We do ask that you let the community know how you’re using Datadog and/or how it has benefited you. We’re happy to work out the details on a per project basis.
  • If you have any additional questions, let us know in the comments and we’ll reach out.
