At Datadog, we’re dedicated to building a platform that helps teams detect, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in their applications and infrastructure. We know that our customers need to be able to debug issues, explore ideas, and manage incidents efficiently, and that means having access to tools that can help them seamlessly share information and leverage the expertise of their distributed teams. That’s why we’re excited to announce that CoScreen—a powerful tool for real-time collaboration—is joining Datadog. Together, we look forward to helping teams collaborate deeply and seamlessly to manage incidents, investigate security threats, debug errors, and more—all within the Datadog platform.

What is CoScreen?

CoScreen offers a unique real-time collaboration platform. Today’s video conferencing tools are too focused on meetings and do not enable distributed and remote teams to effectively work together. CoScreen eliminates the formalities of existing video conferencing tech and replaces it with a real-time collaboration experience that allows users to work with their teammates just as easily as they used to tap them on the shoulder in the office. Today, CoScreen is used by distributed teams to work interactively in a secure, shared workspace. CoScreen users can select an application they’d like to share with teammates—for example, a terminal, IDE, or browser—to collaborate on incident response, pair programming, prototyping, debugging, or product brainstorming. Team members can simultaneously control the shared application and share their windows in the same CoScreen session. With CoScreen, engineering and product teams can communicate and learn from each other more effectively, allowing them to streamline their processes and increase velocity.

Datadog + CoScreen

The CoScreen team has created a next-generation collaboration experience that enables distributed teams to work together seamlessly. We’re excited to welcome their expertise to Datadog, and we look forward to working together to help our customers facilitate incident response, speed up troubleshooting, and reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR). Existing users can continue to collaborate on CoScreen during the integration into Datadog. New users will be able to sign up for CoScreen once that is complete and collaborate with their teams more interactively than ever. See our press release for more information.

Please join us in welcoming the CoScreen team to Datadog, and watch for some exciting new developments that will make collaboration within Datadog even more powerful.
