NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Datadog, the leading monitoring and analytics platform for modern cloud environments, today announced the general availability of its monitoring service for Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS). With this new support, customers can quickly troubleshoot the performance and availability of their applications that use Amazon EKS.

“We are committed to helping customers fully leverage the rapidly growing ecosystem of new cloud services as soon as they are introduced to the market,” said Ilan Rabinovitch, VP of Product Management at Datadog. “Amazon’s EKS announcement is exciting news for our large base of customers who are looking to simplify management of Kubernetes at scale on AWS. Our deep support for Amazon EKS will help these customers rapidly operationalize their containerized application workloads.”

Datadog’s Amazon EKS integration monitors Amazon EKS environments in real time, granting customers full visibility into the performance and availability of their containerized applications, the underlying Kubernetes clusters, and other AWS provided services. This full-stack approach allows customers to greatly increase productivity, troubleshoot performance issues within applications, and avoid costly downtime in these increasingly dynamic IT environments.
